Thanks everyone for the reply! Definitely Metagross is a strong bulky offensive mon to use in this format now that pretty much it has a partner to be paired with. Did mention Tapu Lele multiple times in this write-up, but that's just its best pairing given how Metagross can take punishing hits with its above average defensive stats, while can hit back hard. Honestly Choice Band Metagross hits like a truck, especially when its given the Psychic Terrain boost the power of Zen Headbutt. Yeah with the Choice Band, Earthquake can easily OHKO Tapu Koko that aren't even fully invested so that's an scenario to consider.
