yeah I really like using SubSeed Grass types but no for Doubles since I feel as though Ferrthorn needs Protect in order to scout or get additional recovery option. If the opposing team doesn't have an answer for Ferrothorn pretty much it walls the opposing team. There are even some situations where I get "greedy" and get 3 Leech Seeds off with someone with recover.
