The only four things that i think that make pokemon non-competitive are confusion, flinch, freeze and para (hax) the main effects of para (speed control) are still OK to me. i think that there are ways to deal with things like confusion, para and freeze through certain moves, abilities, items but flinch hax just doesn't makes any sense, apart from the move called 'fake out'
