Anime newbie looking for shows/movies

Update: I watched Eden of the East (and the movies) yesterday it was meh, the ending was a bit dissapointing 
and I watched Summer wars today. HOLY CRAP THAT WAS A GREAT MOVIE! it made the my top 5 favourite movies ever:
1. Back to the Future
2. SW ep 4: A New Hope
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Dirty Harry
5. Summer Wars
It totally blow my socks and then my pants and then my shirt off. I was not expecting it. I mean it kind of felt like a hybrid of the Digimon Movie and (the Sandra Bullock movie) the Proposal. Haha, but was better obvy. 10/10 would watch again.
I can't get enough of anime right now, it's the only entertainment media I'm not nose deep in. So everything is fresh, surprising, and entertaining to me.
