[BUILD SUBMISSION] Trick Room Azumarill-Tank (Physical)
#1
Big Grin
This is an Azumarill build that I came up with just recently and is the first that I have posted on the site.

Stats: HP: 100
        Attack: 50
        Defense: 80
        Sp. Attack: 60
        Sp. Defense: 80
        Speed: 50

        Total: 420

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EV Spread: 252 HP / 60 Attack / 28 Def / 164 Sp. Def / 4 Speed
Adamant Nature
-Play Rough
-Aqua Jet
-Waterfall/ Superpower/ Belly Drum
-Protect

Purpose: This Azumarill build should mainly be used under Trick Room to take advantage of it`s rather poor base speed and to
sweep after that using the Choice Band item since the Pokemon it counters are much faster than it. A Tailwind user may
also give Azumarill the support it needs, but I have not tested it out. However, a Follow Me or Rage Powder would also be   a great addition to redirect all the Will-o-Wisps coming towards it.

Offensive Calculations: 64+ Atk Choice Band Azumarill Superpower vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Bisharp: 384-456 (272.3-323.4%)
                               -1 64+ Atk Azumarill Choice Band Play Rough vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Salamence: 170-204 (100-120%)
64+ Choice Band Atk Azumarill Play Rough vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 224-266 (122.4-145.3%)
64+ Choice Band Atk Azumarill Play Rough vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Hydreigon: 472-556 (280.9-330.9%)
64+ Choice Band Atk Azumarill Superpower vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Kangaskhan: 192-228 (106-125.9%)
64+ Choice Band Atk Azumarill Play Rough vs. 228 HP / 68 Def Sylveon: 138-163 (69.3-81.9%)
                                64+ Choice Band Atk Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 44 Def Rotom-Wash: 97-115 (61.7-73.2%)

Defensive Calculations: 252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Double Edge vs. 252 HP / 28 Def Azumarill : 172-204 (83-98.5%)
                                252+ Atk Bisharp Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 28 Def Azumarill: 84-100 (40.5-48.3%)
                                252+ SpA Charizard Y Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 164 SpD Azumarill: 174-206 (84-99.5%)
252+ SpA Choice Specs Latios Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 164 SpD Azumarill: 170-200 (82.1-96.6%)
                                252+ Atk Choice Band Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 28 Def Azumarill: 132-156 (63.7-75.3%)
                                             - This calculation is based on the setting of a Double Battle.
                                +2 252+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 164 SpD Azumarill: 166-199 (80.1-94.6%)
                                20 SpA Rotom-Wash Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 164 SpD Azumarill: 104-126 (50.2-60.8%)

Good Counters: Venusaur and it`s Mega Form
Double targetting with super effective or very strong moves
Aegislash behind a Substitute if you don`t run Waterfall
                      Gengar (Focus Sash)
                      Rotom-Wash

Good Partners: Any Pokemon with healing moves
Pokemon that can set up Trick Room. (Cresselia, Gothitelle, Gardevoir, etc.)
Sylveon, Mega Gardevoir (Hyper Voice Support)

Final Notes: As this Azumarill build invests much more in the defensive stats and only has single-target attacks, another hard-hitting
Pokemon (preferably with spread attacks) will be needed for this to really succeed like Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir as
previously mentioned.

Leave any other additions in the comments.

Why Choice Band and Protect? Also wouldn't it be better to run a Life Orb on this Azumarill seeing as how you may need to Protect on the turn you set up Trick Room?

Belly Drum and Protect on a Choice Band set? They dont belong here when you're locked into one move. Give the man a Life Orb.
