[RATE MY TEAM] VGC 2015
#1
okay so I've put together a team that I am looking to use for VGC 2015. Note that I am very new to this, this is the first team I have ever built.
It doesn't really have any team chemistry, its more or less I've whacked 6 pokemon together and I'm still figuring out how they work best together!

If you guys think there is good combinations/chemistry let me know, if you think there's pokemon that would work better with this team let me know or if you think I need to change a few of the builds also let me know! Any help/advice is much appreciated!

Greninja @ Expert Belt
Timid
Protean
31/x/31/31/31/31
252 SpAtt - 252 Speed 4HP
Moveset:
Grass Knot
Dark Pulse
Ice Beam
Scald

This is the main focus of my team I think, I like the coverage it gains with its moveset, being able to hit a lot of pokemon with super effective attacks which are boosted by the Expert Belt, also outspeeds a lot

Absol @ Absolite
Naive (I know, bad nature but its shiny and cbf re breeding)
Justified (Magic Bounce when mega)
x/31/31/31/31/31
252 SpAtt - 252 Speed
Moveset:
Thunderbolt
Sucker Punch
Fire Blast
Play Rough

This was a gift from a friend, I need a better moveset on it as sucker punch and play rough are essentially wasted with this being a special attacker. I like to lead with it if I predict a prankster lead, otherwise I use my other mega

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Jolly
Pressure (Tough Claws when mega)
31/31/31/x/31/31
252 Att - 252 Speed
Moveset:
Sky drop
Crunch
Stone Edge
Earthquake

I like usually leading this with my greninja, two of the fastest pokemon together allows for me to get some good quick damage in. Very vulnerable to priority bullet punch and aqua jet though

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Adamant
Defiant
31/31/31/31/x/31
252 HP - 252 Att
Moveset:
Iron Head
Sucker Punch
Knock Off
Protect

Pretty generic set I think, very weak to fighting

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Modest
Pixilate
31/x/31/31/31/31
252 SpAtt - 252 HP
Moveset:
Psyshock
Protect
Shadow Ball
Hyper Voice

Hyper voice is the main offence of this set, pretty much just spam that

Goodra @ Assault Vest
Modest
Gooey
31/31/31/31/31/31
252 SpAtt - 252 SpDef
Moveset:
Thunderbolt
Blizzard
PowerWhip
Dragon Pulse

Okay so this is the tank of the team, aimed to take solid hits while dishing out a bit of damage in return.

It would be helpful to have Protect on Absol and Aerodactly because they are not the most bulky Pokemon.

which move can i get rid of though? I risk losing coverage!

I think you need to buff up that sylveon more to be able to survive more physical attacks

Power Whip on Goodra is also useless as you have a modest nature

Also add more protects to you team

sylveon does seem to get KO'd fairly easily, usually a 2 hit KO when i know that it can be more bulky than that.
which move could i use instead of that? Keep in mind goodra is holding assault vest!

And yes I agree but im more of an offensive battler, but I have found that at times protect would have helped me immensely

This is really the best I could do with your team because to be honest you team is severly fragile and has a huge weakness to Fairy types let alone the other main threats of VGC. I would suggest reformulating a team because a Hyper Voice Sylveon, Mega Mawile, Mega Kang, Azumarill (the list really goes on for a while) would punch large holes in your team and you wouldn't be able to recover.

Scrap Absol for Aegislash. You get Wide Guard and a decent offensive move pool
