Rankings?

I've recently discovered this magnificent place that is this forum and have been enjoying every aspect of it to the fullest. Throughout my stay here i have noticed that we all have different "rankings" i would love it if someone would tell me how they work?

It will change as you post more on the site. After you reach each milestone the "rank" will change. I'm not sure what # of post are required though.

Is it even considered a rank though? Its more like a tag that changes every time you get to a certain amount of posts.

I would have 2k threads made if I were a thread maker. I just post or PM certain people to make threads on news that matters.
