Wormhole hunting

How does the wormhole hunting un usum work in detail?
And is it possible to soft reset once encounter a shiny for better stats or will it be normal then?
Is it possible to soft reset when find a non shiny until its shiny?
Can u soft reset before going throught wormhole so the same pokemon are in the holes and just reset theyr shiny odds for the 7% shiny rate or recommend find and soft reset then?

I don't know the exact mechanics, but I think the deeper you go, the higher the shiny chance. It is possible to sr them because their shininess is determined when you enter the hole. It's not possible to SR for a shiny one, only legendaries, because of the reason before. I think each ride is different so I don't think SR'ing for the same pokemon doesn't work.
