This thread is basically a condensed version of the most import items, characters, and locations in Alola from my own playthrough and this Reddit thread suggested by user Feax.

Useful Locations:
  • Daycare - Route 4
  • Move Reminder - Ula’ula Island, Mount Lanakila Pokemon Center
  • Keldeo/Meloetta Tutor - Hano Grand Hotel, Akala Island
  • Name Rater - Heahea City’s Alola tourist boureau, Akala Island
  • Pledge Tutor - Hau’oli’s Shopping Mall, Melemele Island
  • How to change PokeBall throw styles - Ula’ula Island, near Recycling Plant
  • Move Deleter - Hau'oli city, shopping district Pokemon Center
Evolution Item/Stones Locations
  • Damp Rock - NPC at Malie Community Center, Ula'ula City
  • Dusk Stone - Flea Market at the Malie Community Center (next to the library) or Poni Island, Poni Wilds, hidden underwater off the beach
  • Electrizer - Poni Island, handed by man inside Huntail Boat, to the left of docks
  • Everstone - Rebattle Ilima in his house
  • Eviolite - Akala Island, KoniKoni City, near the Pikachu

Crabrawler can be found as early as the first island. Just look in the berry piles under trees. I highly recommend picking him up, he's good. Also he's cool but that's subjective

I know this is going to sound extremely stupid but can someone explain to me the whole qr scanner thing like is it in the game like a key item or how do  you obtain the qr codes can you get them off the internet or do you have to go out into the real world.I just need to know for when i do get my hands the game thank you.

You can just scan them right off of the computer screen. the QR scanner is in the pause menu. Although in certain cases you have a limited number of scans and I'm not exactly sure why.

I think its limited by 10 times a day
