Tips on Team Building?

Check out the Competitive Compendium as naitre mentioned since it has many relevant guides for teambuilding either for singles and doubles. Regarding any advice, have your team be able to counteract most of the metagame threats and synergistic from an offensive to defensive standpoint. Of course, knowing what's allowed in each format is important as well.
