My idea for this is getting off a quick flinch proof burn but I have no idea how well it would really do.

Afraid it might get KO'd before it gets to use fling, and you'd be better off with a speedy/prankster Will-O-Wisp for Gengar or Sableye

Yeah Alakazam is way to fragile to use as a support set. Youre better off with Sableye and running sash Alakazam.

If you're afraid of getting flinches, I like to run a Support Hawlucha with Quick Guard, and the only fake out that can stop it is a Weavile

As everyone said, the EV spreads means that common attackers would outspeed Alakazam and take it out before it has an opportunity to do the gimmick.
