I was lucky enough to catch a shiny ponyta in a FS two days ago after 99 encounters. I'd been searching for one since Diamond after I found one on the daycare route (if I remember correctly) and my DS died right before I caught it ;( I was so heartbroken it was my second shiny encounter ever (although at the time I didnt know what shiny pokemon were and thought it was a glitch lol)
