Definitely love using Nidokings as its my favorite Gen 1 Poison-type as I'm always in a position to hits something on the opponent's team hard, provide it can outspeed. While this isn't standard Smogon play, there's some other options Nidoking can run like have Toxic Spikes, though its outclassed by Nidoqueen for this role. In this one draft league, I've used Physical Nidoking, though it was probably a hit or miss as generally speaking the special movepool hits harder and doesn't suffer from LO recoil most of the time.
