My brother watched it and just asked me "Was that it? is that the end?".
They left so much open. I just ended up telling him all the differences between the animu and mango. A lot of people disliked the original ending (I loved it) but i can see a lot more people being disappointed by the anime one.

I still think that the anime is beautiful, but the manga is absolutely amazing! I'd highly recommend you read it if you have the time, the story takes a few different turns than the anime does. Also the sequel Tokyo Ghoul:re has chapters being published weekly. Again, amazing manga that I would recommend!

The Cliffhanger on S1 was great then S2 started and wasn't very interesting for me. But still an awesome anime with great fights and story line.
