Well, Didi Gregorius didn't get traded to the tigers but the tigers were a part of a three team trade that brought Shane Greene to the tigers, Didi Gregorius to the Yankees (He will wear #2 ) and Robbie Ray to the DiamondBacks. I think the tigers took part in this trade is to have a replacement for Scherzer/Porcello so that we can trade Porcello for Cespedes. Or its just a replacement for Scherzer
