Suggestions for my new team?
#1
I've been inactive on here & Showdown recently because school has started up again, and I've started to get back into battling. Here's a team I've been screwing around on Showdown with. Derp, didn't even notice that. *facepalm* Probably was from when I was changing up my other Aegislash.

Just curious why you're running Return over Moonblast. I'm assuming you're using it for Wide Guard users? Moonblast will typically net you more damage, usually about 40% more. I guess it'd make sense to run it over Moonblast if you're using it for Sp. D walls.

I assumed Return had more damage but I guess not, I'll try using Moonblast over Return.

I think I might replace Aegislash with Heatran because I really need a fire type on my team... :/

Not running another offensive move for Thundurus may cost you the game seeing as how Thunderbolt cannot hit Ground types which are common in VGC

Why did you decide to run a Quiet Nature on the Sylveon? Is that a Trick Room counter? A Modest nature would be more suitable.

You're going to need to run Protect on Mega Salamence seeing as how the speed boost it gets, you receive it on the following turn of the mega evolution. Also with the amount of Hyper Voice and Ice Beam in VGC, there is no guarantee that Mega Salamence will be living against these threats

I think Sylveon was leftover from a Trick Room team I made and I forgot to change the nature.

What offensive move for Thundurus would you suggest?

There is no guarantee that he'll survive but he's still a big threat in VGC and I think he's viable.

I really don't think that special mega Salamence is all that great. Sure it gets hyper voice but I still think that a physical double edge Salamence will be much more of a threat

I'm actually about to test out a Physical Salamence w/ Double Edge to see if I like it better. Hyper Voice is nice, but I think it's predictable at this point.

Try Hidden Power Ice for Thundurus.
