[TEAM REPORT] A Team Report from Italy VGC National
#3
Nice work with this team GMX! Surely you would have got that 7-2 record if it wasn't for those unlucky turns, but overall this team is solid especially going into Italian Nationals. I'll say this as a predominate Rain user (noted during March-May) that Gastrodon is an absolute pain to face give how it completely stops incoming Water attacks and momentum. Your Scizor, Gastrodon, and Blaziken core was the right call given how players were going to play "safe" with Pokemon like Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Salamence, Charizard Y, and Mega Metagross. As mentioned, the only thing can stop this team are Fairy+Fire Pokemon (ex Mega Gardevoir and Heatran) unless you happen to get in Aegislash safely to prevent spread damage. Overall its a rather solid team you have there.
