Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 180 HP / 132 Def / 12 SpA / 4 SpD / 180 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rock Slide
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Protect

In the current meta Special Tyranitar is becoming more common than physical, so i've decided to show you a mainly Special Varient. Rock Slide although is a physical move has the power to KO pokemon such as Talonflame and Charizard with ease. Fire Blast can be used to deal with Grass type threats such as Ferrothorn, or even deal alot of damage to pokemon such as Bisharp. Dark pulse can deal with threats such as Gengar. And finally Protect for that needed protection. This EV spread will ensure its survival of many attacks (shown in Damage Calcs.).

Damage Calculations:

Offensive:

Nice sets Anime! Even with all the weakness, with the right support Tyranitar can be a huge problem. Also does Tyranitar get ice punch in oras or is it an event only move?

Great write-up! T-Tar is definitely a Pokemon that I've wanted to to use more effectively, and it's certainly becoming more and more of a threat in the current meta. Awesome work here, Anime! :D

What are your thoughts on Stoutland and other Pokemon with abilities such as Sand Force and Storm Drain as partners? Also, would 252/252/4 function effectively on an offensive Tyranitar? :s
