Seeing as everyone seemed to support with my thought about a battle system here on Pokemon Forever we should establish the basis (this will be prone to change):
A gymleader/Trial captian for all eighteen types (preferably)
NO LEGENDS/MYTHICALS/UB'S
use of any (non restricted) pokemon is allowed (expect shenanigans)
Kahunas are kahunas?
Winners will be (possibly) crowned champion. Prizes?
Z-moves for both
A player’s Battle Team may be manually checked by a non-battling user for hacks
Megas only allowed even if one party doesn't posses one.
For this, Silvally and Type: Null are not legends
all pokemon are kept at lv.50
You can always forfeit and retry
Changing of a team member is allowed by both parties between battle
no cheating~
If at all possible have one video of the battle (?)
Challengers are not restricted by type
A player wins by making their opponent’s final Pokémon faint.
If both Pokémon faint during the last turn of a match, the player whose Pokémon faints last wins the game.
Best of three (?)
"The use of external devices, such as a mobile app, to modify or create items or Pokémon in a player’s Battle Team is expressly forbidden. Players found to have Pokémon or items that have been tampered with may receive a Disqualification, regardless of whether the Pokémon or items belong to that player or were traded for" -pkmn 2018 rules. Just dont use hacked mons, no disqualifying here.
Certain battle formats are chosen by league members, not challengers.
