So, if we follow the number logic, Popplio could become Water/Fighting when evolving, and Litten Fire/Ground. But the thing is, 3 comes before 4, so I guess it could be Rowlet losing his Flying type to become Grass/Ground, meaning Litten would stay Fire only.
this is pure speculation tho.
In the E3 Popplio is shown to learn the move Dissarming Voice so it would seem odd if it became a fighting type
